Cameron began painting at a very early age. He was handed his first brush at 1 1/2 years old and allowed to explore the process of putting paint on canvas. His first painting sold at 2 1/2 years of age for $500 at his second art exhibit. Since then, he has had numerous shows and sales of his work. Painting runs in the Villa Family. Cameron's grandfather is a well known aritst/muralis/professor emeritus and has sold many works over the span of his life, most notably a painting titled "Joe Serna" for $10K. Cameron's father Rene also follows the family tradition of painting and exhibits his work as well. Sales of all work by Cameron goes to a college savings account for future education expenses.
